Part of my job is reception, when people call in sick, they call early so they don't have to speak to anyone and the call always starts with a coughing fit 'to make a point' makes me laugh every time because it is so fake yet they think they sound genuine

I had an employee who used to call in sick, usually a Friday, with the, I musta eaten red cabbage by mistake, it makes me vomit. I'm home for the day.
So funny my son and I still use the saying.
