I'm kind of addicted to this sauce since coming back from Thailand. It's soy-based but has some other gubbins in it that make it distinct.
Discovered it when it was listed as an ingredient in a recipe from Hot Thai Kitchen.
A quick splash of it is instant Thailand! I've just now squirted it all over some fried rice and the taste just takes me away.

I use Maggi occasionally. I wasn't sure if I could get it here in Rome so before I left 'Vegas I bought a huge bottle of it. Now it's probably "aged" Maggi... Still good though!

Well, the unit cost is high but sometimes you just have to do what tastes good. Between some Wonder bread and a good dollop of mayo with a homemade pickle on the side.
