Wanted to buy some fresh strawberries today because they were on an awesome sale at the market. Sadly, there wasn't a single strawberry to be found. I even asked the produce manager, and he said none were delivered yesterday and he wasn't optimistic there'd be any tomorrow. Well, alrighty now!

Yes, we have the space and have grown them in the past. But age (looking at 80) and nature's bounty of physical limitations only allow me to get them at the market.

The veg at the left is 'kangkong' sometimes called 'Chinese Water Spinach'. The jar is some chicken rice paste and next to it are 'bawang goreng'; ready-fried shallots for garnishing.

I have notebooks. But so many and so full that I lose the written down recipe. I usually write what I am making down. But if I don't post it on the forum it disappears in the annals.
