I am surprised you ask. You are so creative and inventive. I would scald, dunk in ice water then freeze. A vacuum sealer is very helpful.
 I have neither the water to spare, nor a vacuum sealer.
They are however stoned, partially cooked with ½kg of sugar and in the deep freeze currently until hubby returns to work and I decide what I'm doing with them. Chutney and jam seem the likely concoctions....
