With a few exceptions, I don't really like remakes. Especially when they are not needed.
One exception is John Carpenters The Thing (Original has different name and then there was a remake of that one which was terrible).

Oh, sorry. DD got a ROKU box that connects to the TV, and she has subscriptions to a few streaming sites. Roku and Tubi are free.

Yes, thank you, I know, but when I say our TV is too old, I mean it's ancient. Our kids have subscriptions too that we could use, but not on our TV. Unfortunately our TV is so old that the roku has to connect to the red, yellow and white RCA connectors. I actually have those cables for it and a roku I bought about 6 years ago, but it doesn't work properly because our TV is just too old!!
