We just watched three (or was it four?) episodes of Babylon 5. We’re nearing the end of season 4 (out of 5).
I didn’t like the Guy Pearce version at all. The Rod Taylor version much better. This morning I watched the 1960 The Time Machine on youtube.
Guy Pearce did a version, too. Which I also like. But I prefer the older one for the way the people act oblivious to what is going on.
And speaking of Guy Pearce, I just finished watching The Proposition again. On Prime. Really good Australian Western. With Ray Winstone. He's made for characters like in this movie. Or The Departed.
He made a lot of good movies. The Rod Taylor version much better.
And the original Time Machine had a great cast.Yeah, you take away the CGI and the newer version doesn't hold a candle. The story is much better done in the original.
Also, Alan Young and Yvette Mimieux.I had forgotten "Mr French" was in it until I saw him.
Also, Alan Young and Yvette Mimieux.
I'm so/so on westerns. Don't like John Wayne.Hah! I didn't even recognize Alan Young.
Not without his horse
If you like Burl Ives and can sit through Westerns (personally, I love Westerns), The Big Country is on YT.
One of my favorite movies.
Excellent movie!Need to dig this one out also. Another of my favorite Christmas movies:

I named one of my cats Piwacit after the cat in this movie.

I do like Tombstone and Silverado if they count. I'm sure there's one or two others. Just can't think of them ATM.
One of my favorite scenes from Tombstone is when Doc meets Ringo.
I'm your huckleberry!Oh, the ending with Doc and Johnny is pretty good, too.
Why Johnny Ringo... you look like somebody just walked over yore grave.
