What will you be watching on TV tonight (2025)?

Oh noooo...
I've had football off today.
I can't believe the Bills lost. Idiots. How could that even happen against Miami?
Your guess is as good as mine. The Bills do seem to have this odd tendency to be excellent against good teams, and absolutely horrendous against terrible teams.

McDermott might have lucked into Josh Allen and Dabo helping Josh turn the corner...
But their HC has to go. He's squandering real talent.

Wow. I am so confused...

I just finished watching Elizabeth on YT and there was a LOT going on.
I guess I'd have to know a bit more about the history to grasp everything. Like how a half sister could take the throne so easily with an exiled man suddenly appearing back in her court as her most trusted person. Let alone trying to figure out whose side everybody was on or what country they were from.

Good movie though. The ending reminded me of the ending of The Godfather.

Was it the one with Helen Mirren? That's a good movie.

I'd hazard a guess and say intrigue, intermarriage among European royalty, insidious pacts of diplomacy which were completely ignored when convenient, lust for power and ruthless elimination of (perceived) enemies was more or less the norm in 16th century Europe.
Bit like today, really, but more bloodthirsty.

Yeah, I got that part.
I just seemed to be missing exactly who some of the people were. Maybe they were all fictional.
And if the church was so dead set against Elizabeth being Queen of England, they sure waited long enough to try to do something about it.
There seemed to be blocks of time or character development missing. As if the movie watchers already knew the story.
But not this American, lol.

Don't worry. I wouldn't know the story either. Royal history is unchartered territory for me.
