Well, I've got "Mary Shelley" under my belt now. Also on youtube.
I wasn't into it at the start, but then the story started moving.
I was a bit surprised at the way poets and writers carried on in those times. I hadn't realized the bohemian/counterculture lifestyle started that early. Pretty tragic story.
My favorite character from Downton Abby was in it 😍

And The Painted Veil is in the books. Also youtubed.
Disappointing ending. Other than that you can't beat a movie with a bunch of good actors.

We watched one Hallmark Christmas movie, which was on a Danube Christmas markets river cruise (one we’ve taken before), so that was fun to see.

Then we watched a second, non-Hallmark Christmas movie, set in Gettysburg, and since we’ve been there 12,054 times (and are planning to retire to that area), we really enjoyed that, because we could pick out specific streets and roads they were on, and “mistakes” that were made.

It wasn’t a very good movie, but the familiarity factor made up for it.

After that…The Waltons.

Been watching The Equalizer series on Paramount+.

I watch very little TV, but I am looking forward to the new Landman series coming out in a few days. Last year's Season 1 was fantastic. Yellowstone was the great one before that.

Let’s see…two episodes of Abbot Elementary. I really wish they’d just cancel it already.

Before that, a Hallmark HOF movie, this one with Dermont Mulroney (I’m totally guessing at that), that Williams-Paisley actor who was on According to Jim, and Danny Glover. Something about Christmas on a train, but I missed most of it.

What I didn’t miss, though, was the latest two episodes of Hallmark’s Mistletoe Murders. This murder was really simple to solve, I think we both had it inside of 15 minutes…”That one’s a fraud, that one’s the real deal, and that one’s the killer. Bam!” - spot on.

Then an episode of What We Do In the Shadows. There was a little Easter egg of sorts in this one: Matt Berry plays one of the main characters, Lazlo. He used to play the lead in Toast of London, for which he wrote and performed the theme song.

In one scene of WWDITS, the house familiar walks into the room where Lazlo is mindlessly playing the piano and…he’s playing the theme song from Toast of London. Cute!
