What will you be watching on TV tonight (2026)?

Oh, it’s been a blast here. First I watched Shivers for the third time - one of my all-time favorite movies, about a parasite that turns everyone into sex-mad zombies, and I followed that up with Rabid for the second time, also about sort of a parasite that turns everyone into…sex-mad zombies. Both are Cronenberg films. Weird, I don’t like body horror…but I love David Cronenberg!

Then I watched Incubus, with John Cassavetes, which was not about parasites and sex-mad zombies, but rather a sex-mad incubus ravaging a small town.

Yesterday…Savage Grace, with Julianne Moore and Eddie Redmayne, then a gem of a Canadian film from 1975, Wedding in White, with Carol Kane and Donald Pleasence, then Galaxy of Terror, low-budget space opera with everyone’s little sister Joanie Cunningham in one of the starring roles, and finally, Prisoner #701: Scorpion, a fine example of Japanese exploitation filmmaking.

Whew! My eyes were sore after all that!

Two movies yesterday - nunsploitation film The Nun and the Devil (too much nun, not enough devil, IMO), and then Body Double, which I’d never seen and really enjoyed…up until the end. Didn’t like the ending.
