Oh, wow, this is good…really good:

I love the unusual name as much as the drink itself; Ulysses Left on Ithaca. It’s made with bourbon, earl grey tea, lemon juice, honey-ginger simple syrup, and garnished with thyme and a little salt.

Third option is…I’ll drink anything and like it.

Don’t worry, though, I haven’t gotten to the IPA yet. I don’t like IPAs at all, and I doubt this one will change my mind.

Today´s beer reminded me of a girl I once dated at university. WAY out of my league. She was almost 6ft tall, stunning, spoke 4 languages, played the cello, was studying medicine and was a pillar of the debating society.

The last cantaloupe I bought was the size of a basketball, so we have a lot of melon right now. Here’s how I used some up:

Vodka, honey, melon purée, and freshly-grated ginger.

Had a little rum from a Florida company called Sailbird Distilling Company. A lower proof, but pleasant, sipper at only 40% ABV

That's 80 proof. I thought that was normal for rum.

I had Bacardi 151 one night MANY years ago. Ended the night driving the porcelain bus. Never again.

Most of the rums I enjoy are between 43%-47% but my collection ranges from 40-63% ABV.
