Cabernet franc from 2022. Normally I’d enjoy this in the backyard, but it’s super hot out and the air quality is terrible from forest fires.

Have you tried new Zealand wines???

Russ
I have probably tried a couple over the years - we mostly drink Canadian/Ontario wines. When you live only a couple hours from a major wine-producing region (and a couple hours in the other direction from a minor wine-producing region) it’s really easy to just take a day/weekend trip and stock up for the next 6 months!

I have wineries 30 mins away.
Aussie wines are good. Try yellowtail if you get a chance. They are really good 👍

rascal I'm a Cupcake vineyard from NZ kinda gal. I wait for our local grocer, Krogers aka Fry's, has their 25% off wine, I buy a case + .
The regular price is $15USD, on sale I get it for less than $5.

Wow. Just wow . We pay around $20 for a nice wine 🍷. Per bottle.
Even aussie wines we pay 20 to.30
I only drink red usually a merlot.

Well, the conversion rate right now is $1NZ to $0.59USD, so, that's about the same, $11.80 - $17.70USD to your $20-30NZ ... which is a big reason why I wait for my big discount days
