That is true. My brother is...well, was an all-waking-hours drinker until just recently. Now, due to a very damaged liver, he's on a strict no-booze diet, along with heavy restrictions on what he can eat. He's fairly miserable most days now. :(

I quit smoking after 10 days in a coma, that got my attention. Back in 06 :)
