I'll get up in the morning and start doing the veggies for the pot roast. It'll be cooked in the new Power Pressure Cooker XL (Excel).

According to the recipe booklet that came with the unit, the whole cooking process should take about 25 minutes from the moment that the pressure is obtained inside the inner pot. The countdown timer then starts timing the food that is being pressure cooked.

Getting the pot roast started now.

I will take pics of the process & post them when I'm done

Hah!!

You can do it in ANY pressure cooker - stovetop or a electric one.

I just wanted to try it this time in my new Power Pressure Cooker XL. Now next time, I may do it in one of my stovetop units. I like the versatility of being able to choose which cooking method to do!!

I have seen the Power Pressure Cooker on tv and wondered if it really was quicker and still make a good tasting meal.

I ate leftover chilli for sunday dinner. It was good.
