Why do I have to keep signing in after being off the forum for a while?

Does anyone know why this keeps on happening?

I'm clicking on the button where it asks if I want my password remembered.

Is there something on my Settings page that I must do to keep this annoying problem from happening so much?

Any help that you can offer with be appreciated.

Hello Shermie,

It sometimes helps to clear out the login cookie from your browser and then log back in again (creating a new one).

If you're not sure how to do it, you should be able to find the instructions via Google by searching for "clear cookies" followed by the name of the web browser you use.

Let me know if clearing cookies fixes the problem for you?

I think I fixed it, but I'll have to wait & see.

CCleaner, a cleaning software that helps get rid of cookies, registry files & Temporary Internet files seems to be working ok now.

It gives you the option to save or throw away cookies. The ones that you save are supposed to be kept to the right and saved. Seems the software was off kilter, destroying cookies that were supposed to be saved. I'll see what happens. Thanks for you input!
