I went in the front yard to practice casting and... landed my lure right dead center in the top of the crabapple tree, way off to my left...
I had a tall enough ladder to retrieve the brand new lure.

For sure! I haven't fished in about 50 years so before I go tossing things where I can't get them I figure I'll practice a bit first.
Have you heard of 'Game Of Wool' - a UK TV show hosted by olympic diver Tom Daley?
My mum had the telly on yesterday and he was on talking about the show - some kind of reality contest where they try to find the UK's Best Knitter.

No, I've not heard of it.
We don't get many UK shows in Australia though unless they're from the 80's. Anything newer and you'd need Britbox which we don't subscribe to.

I finished another pair of socks! These are for my husband.
I received this yarn as a gift - it’s hand-dyed and inspired by the plumage of the northern parula, which is a warbler that looks like this:
