My daughter is moving my paintings around because the other kid is coming home, she doesn’t like her room and want to sleep in the spare one which has been used to store my paintings.
This painting is one of the Queen’s corgis, but I removed all the people around this corgi, a Christmas gift for my daughter because she loves corgis. However, it’s an oil painting and I’m waiting for at least 6 months before I can glaze it and frame.

You're pretty good at that!

That looks like a bromeliad of the genus Tilandsia. Very pretty indeed, and I'm pretty sure I've got some in the garden somewhere.
The leaves have turned red/pink since i bought it. I don't know if that means it's happy, or if it is a response to the flowering. Next time I'm in the shop I bought it from, I'll see what it was. I do know it was only A$9.99 which is around £5.

Rio de Janeiro, this is the Escadaria Selaron

Rio's Colorful Stairs are the famous *Escadaria Selarón*, an open-air work of art located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This colourful staircase was created by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón, who used over 2,000 tiles from more than 60 countries to decorate the 250 steps of the staircase.

The stairs connect the Lapa and Santa Teresa neighborhoods and represent a tribute to the Brazilian people. The predominant colours are green, blue, and yellow, which are the colours of the Brazilian flag
