That’s good to know because I’ve been wearing my Fair Isle pulllover every day since I first posted it!

Right now:

That's the sort of thing that I'll wash once it twice a year unless I know I've spilt something over it, if I can see a collar mark around the neck area. You'll not need to worry too much about it wearing a shirt.

1 day usually. If they've had a very light wear day, then 2 days maximum. Wool doesn't wear the same as other fibres. It's much more resilient to odour than others.

As for the washing detergent , I've always been aware of the need for different detergent and washing method (very specifically no hot to cold sudden changes and much less agitation). This is because of the treatment of wool to make it into the 'super wash' style and it's ability to felt. It's a mammal fibre which needs different treatment, due to the keratin and its structure, roughness. If you search on wool keratin or wool non-superwash you'll find a while new world about caring for woollen items.

My aborted PhD in surfactants also made me much more aware.
So much in your head! 🙏

Views in Australia tend to be close up.

I wasn't expecting this Orchid, it's a maroonhood Orchid (Pterostylis pedunculata)

These are all variations of the same Pink Lady's Fingers (Caladenia carnea)

Hands are sometimes needed to get the camera to find the target, but also handy for size. They were a lot smaller than I'd expected!
