It is still there almost 2 hours later! It will be dark soon. It is already dark enough that I need to go and lock up, but I don't want to disturb it!

I'm going to try to sneak out of the backdoor without disurbing it. the more it eats of the sheep, the less likely my chicks will be in danger!

So, there was a rumble of thunder, and 0.5mm of rain and about 50 galahs invaded my dead gum tree to have a communal bath.

Anyone would think they're in Australia with their need to bathe hanging out of a tree upside-down.

We stayed here for our honeymoon almost 36 years ago, best yet, I somehow got 3 nights for free. My husband said who could have looked ahead that far. My family and I’m sure his as well, gave us 2 years max, lol.

This little fellow was quite oblivious to my presence. I kept walking closer and closer thinking he'd fly away... it's an Eastern Spinebill. They rest nectar and insects.
