Rice Bedded Pork With a Pistachio Fig Blanket:
Ingredients:
1) Boneless Porkchop (Thick) - 1
2) Dried Figs - 1/4 to 1/2 Cup
3) Peanut Oil - 1/8 Cup
4) Pistachios - 1/4 to 3/8 Cup
5) Half N Half - 1/8 Cup
6) Brown Rice - 1/8 Cup
Procedure:
1) Pulverize 1/4 Cup Pistachio Nuts to a Powder or Flour.
2) Fragment 1/8 Cup Pistachio Nuts.
3) Dice up Dried Figs.
4) Cross Cut the Pork Chop.
5) Boil the Rice, Strain and set aside.
5) Fry the Pork.
6) Set the Pork aside.
7) In a pan mix Peanut Oil, Figs, Pistachio Flour and Fragmennts.
8) Heat until thickened.
9) Add Half N Half, Stir and Heat until reduced.
10) Cover a serving plate with rice.
11) Arrange the Pork Cuts over the rice.
12) Blanket the Pork and Rice with the Pistachio Fig Mixture.
13) Serve.
