I saw a pot of Oatly Creme Fraiche in the supermarket the other day and bought it. It is made from oats and coconut.

What shall I do with it? Anyone have some savoury ideas using creme fraiche I can try?

I've never cooked with dairy creme fraiche as it was not commmon in the UK when I learnt to cook at home and at school. I do cook with meat and dairy for husband but never creme fraiche. (I just asked him if he likes it and he said no, so that is probably why I have never bothered!)

Please give me some ideas.

I use it in salad dressings sometimes. I think the dairy free version will be fine for that. I wonder how stable the dairy free is when cooking? I add creme fraiche to some cooked sauces too. Its lighter than cream and adds more of a tang.

I have (had?) a variety of dishes that idea creme fraiche. I'll have to see if I still have them , but it was often added just before serving to melt/dissolve into a sauce. Now I just add creamed cashew nuts and Lemon juice for anything that days creme fraiche or sour cream.
