Sounds good - carob syrup is unusual.

I brought some back from Cyprus a few years ago after visiting a carob factory/museum. It goes really well with duck.

Considering that they only had ½ fresh chilli in each roll plus a teaspoon of chilli powder spread between them all, they had quite a kick!

I have a beef brisket in the pressure cooker, where I added a pint of Guinness in lieu of stock. Meanwhile, I’m having one of these:

I bought it in Galway, Ireland. I stupidly put it in the dishwasher a few times before I noticed what it was doing to the printing. You can still see it, but I’m mad at myself every time I look at it. However, it’s not going to stop me from finishing this pint (and possibly having another).

And, the corned beef. It took me 70 minutes of cooking to make phenomenally tasty corned beef. A Reuben sandwich will be on the way shortly.

I've done the same. Something else I never put in the dishwasher.
