$3.24 million for tuna

Preference in canned/tinned if gaffelbiter.
No doubt about it.
In fresh fish I like monkfish the best I think, but also tuna, salmon, mackerel, trout, cod, john dory. Probably most sea fish actually, the fresher the better
I love monkfish too, but the ones we get here are from China, so I avoid buying monkfish. My husband also loves mackerel, we eat this frequently, maybe once a month. But I absolutely love Black Cod from Alaska, this is a delicacy for the Japanese.

Yer basic canned water-packed tuna - I’ll eat that (tuna salad). That’s about it. I tried the oil-packed expensive stuff, after many people (including Julia Child) raved about how much better it was than the pathetic, sad water-packed stuff and found it inedible. Spit it out, threw it out.

I get the water ones as well. If I want to eat oil I'll take a different path.

I don’t like greasy stuff anyway, so I don't buy the ones with oil.
But i honestly have problem searing the tuna so it will still be rare inside.

When I could eat it once a week I could cook it properly but now that it's a rarity to purchase it's just as rare that I cook it right. Oh well, thankful to have it so no mind the cooking.
