When I lived in the UK (I'm American), I used to make cornbread for pot-luck meals at work, and the local employees would absolutely flip over it.

I found more cornbread UK recipes this morning than I expected.

It was at a cafe in Riva del Garde, I stopped off there every day on the way back from an early morning walk. The staff tolerated my attempts at ordering in Italian, I nailed "Boungiorno, mi fa un caffe per favore" though.

Riva del Garda is an amazing place. The staff should have been glad of your Italian at ordering because is very good!
