I really need to keep this precision recipe secret so please don't tell anyone okay - here it is:

1 lb of 90% lean minced beef (had to use it before tomorrow - next will be 80%)
1 X tspn Thyme (give or take)
1 X tspn salt (as above)
1/2 tspn Garlic powder
1/2 tspn onion powder
1 X tspn celery powder
1 X tspn Italian Spice
1/2 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
Generous splash of vege oil
1/2 cup water
1 X egg for the baste

I think that was all I used .....

So the cooking bit:

Conventional Oven set at 375 F
Cook for 30 minutes or until browned

Optionall - cook for 15 minutes then rotate ;) :)

Darn it - forgot the worcestershire sauce .... grrrrrrrrr

And here they are in all their glory fresh from the oven :)

These took a little less than 25 minutes on the center shelf of the stove.

I reckon you came up with a good recipe here. Well done!
Thankyou but I can't take the credit for all of it - I found an old recipe and added a few things to it like the celery, water, oil, italian seasoning and worstershire or brown sauce.

Sounds and looks very good.
Just out of curiosity: what is exactly the Italian spice ingredient? It occurred me to see it every now and then in some recipes and I always wondered what is it..maybe a mix of oregano, sage and basil? These are the only “Italian-style spice mix” come to mind.. thank you 🙂
