Bought new 4-qt Enameled Dutch Oven!!

Just took it out of the box. And it is HEAVY!! Heavy as the LeCruset!!! Didn't think so at first, but it IS!! Now. What will I cook in it first? Maybe the pot roast! Hah!! :eek:

For such an auspicious occasion the pot’s first outing should have its very own dish.
Perhaps something from your repertoire but with a volcanic orange twist?!

We had ‘Orangey pie’ which was just a standard casserole the addition of cubed butternut squash and sweet potato and a cobbler made with a lot of Red Leicester cheese and more sprinkled on top for a very orangey finish 👍

Also, did any of you know that Dutch oven is the name for a thoroughbred race horse?!! I also have a cast iron Dutch Oven with a bail handle (below).
