I noticed today that a new channel - Christmas Food - has appeared on Freeview TV. There went another afternoon. Rick Stein, Two Fat Ladies and Nigella (altogether too many stiff peaks) classics in abundance.

I miss the Two Fat Ladies.
They haven't been on Amercian TV for many years.
I still want to make their recipe for Devilled Kidneys.
Can't stand the hairy bikers, hate cooks trying to come up with a gimmick, just show me some cooks please.
Ot,but I love a steak n kidney pie.
Russ
I beg to differ - they really can cook. I've seen them live and tried recipes.
I don't doubt you, I just don't like gimmicks, just teach me something. But I loved two fat ladies. One died eh?
Russ
If I could send you one I would - its one of my favourite things to make. Well, actually 'steak and kidney pudding' rather than pie.
One of the local newscasters started her own food/cooking show. There was a segment where she made a dish for her five-year-old son Levi, called Does Levi Like It? She made fettuccine alfredo with truffles and crab, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese that looked pretty good. To be honest, it's more interesting than most of the chefs' shows on the food channel.
They both died... I have all their books.
