    :chef: Ingredients
    • 2 tbsp melted butter
    • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
    • 1 cup 100% Maple syrup (non-GMO, Organic)
    • 1 tbsp Amaretto
    :chef: Instructions
    1. Mix ingredients thoroughly in stainless steel mixing bowl
    2. Taste. Add extra amounts of any ingredient to achieve a better taste
    3. Chill in refrigerator. Note: Butter will solidify
    4. When serving, heat in microwave for 10 seconds. Stir butter.
    :chef: Additional Notes
    • This syrup is bold and has alcohol in it. That is to say, this syrup is for adults, not kids. As we are fond of saying in the United States, "Time to put the big boy pants on..."
    • I found this syrup works even better when served with fresh berries. (see photo)

Love the simplicity of this. Clear bold flavours. Lovely photo of waffles. :okay:

Thanks @morning glory and @Shermie for the accolades.
I somehow managed to save two waffles for breakfast today. It was a good day.
