Reading other posters here and drooling at pics I would love to sit down and have a meal with some of you guys. The time you put in leaves me feeling inadequate.
I would love JAS_OH1 to cook me some grits.
TastyReuben could cook me anything with cheese.
medtran49 could cook me an Italian meal.
karadekoolaid and Indian dish.
Could you cook for another member here or would you be too scared???

Well if we all go to Italy one day and get a bunch of villas close together with a large common cooking area, we can all take turns cooking for each other!

I generally don’t like cooking for other people, even family (except for MrsT, of course, and some days, even that’s pushing it).

It would really depend on the circumstance.
I know if I will be traveling to your area in the future, I would DM you and ask if you had time to meet up at a restaurant for a lunch or breakfast (yes, when I travel I do get up before the crack of noon  ). Inviting myself to your house for a meal would be a bit rude, and if you extended the invite not sure I would accept, but that's mostly because you are off the beaten path--that and we don't really know each other.

That, I would do!

I’m probably not as out of the way as you might think - I-71 south, exit <mumble mumble> and go two miles east, then turn at the church, and one mile north. Easy!

Well, after a few times of meeting in restaurants we'll see how comfortable we are with each other and maybe one day you'd invite us for tea on the deck. Maybe in 2028 when the SSOAPs come to the US!

We use stumps and trees for markers here...
We were in Mexico an old man in town with fairly good English was giving us directions to a cantina, and he said ]something about going down to the second street and turning right, then drive a little further and turn left at the dead cat in the road.
