I even looked up the taste of the "additives". Of course all of that advertising is positive on behalf of the seller.

What additives are you referring to? They’re made with three ingredients - potatoes, oil, and salt.

Yes, they’re excellent, with a sort of bitter taste upfront that quickly mellows to a full, rich potato flavor.
