My mom loves making soup with pork legs. She adds pechay, potatoes, and green beans. However, my siblings do not like the pork itself. So, to avoid wasting the meat, my mom deep fries the pork the next day. It's good! :) You should try this not only with pork but also with other meat to avoid wasting food.

its along time since I've heard pechay, we know it as pac choi,
with the pork do you batter it or flour it? pork is such a versatile meat hot or cold or reheated
its always intrigues me how cultures and food are so similar,in the uk we may put cabbage or chard in our soups
