Diabetic Diet as Prevention

I lost a considerable amount of weight - going from 300lbs to 277lbs!

Still a long way to go, but I've changed my eating habits to smaller portions, eating something light in between. About every few hours apart. And it seems to be working, so I'll stick with that! :wink:

Congrats on the weight loss, more people need to be aware that weight and exercise can help to prevent this disease. I also eat more vegetables than meat and try to stay away from the starches to avoid the increase in blood sugar. The disease does run on both sides of my family.
