Do you have a TV (or similar tech) in your kitchen?

Nope. The only tech I guess is my phone. I am usually that to listen to some "light" heavy metal while I am cooking!
This works for some "light" shredding... 😆

I had a lot of cooking to do the other day and brought the outdoor tv into the kitchen to keep me company while I did all the prep.
I really, really enjoyed it. It was a series I’ve watched before so I could pay attention to what I was preparing but the screens so large I could also see what was going on out of the corner of my eye, I stopped to watch the parts I enjoyed last time around.

The prep took fractionally longer than usual (not much) and I felt super chilled out when I’d finished. Even went for nap 😂
I guess combining two things I find relaxing meant I got a double dose of chill out juice 🤣

So I’ve taken the plunge and ordered a tv for the kitchen 😬
If I don’t like it I can always leave it off.
Feels a bit strange because I’ve always had a strict ‘no tech at the table policy’ and now I’m doing a complete 180!
I think it might be lovely with all the Christmas food prep thats coming up. Put on a Christmas film, add in a bit of mulled wine and that triple hit of sedatives might mean I trip through Christmas in blissed out haze 😂

Pick it up from Argos tomorrow 👍

Mulled wine and triple doses!!! 👏😜🤗

No tech where there's hot things and sharp things.

I recall the moment I figured out that just brazed copper piping looks exactly like room temperature copper piping, with my neck! *oops*

We have a pretty open floor plan, so we can see our living room TV from the kitchen. I don't watch much TV at all, and mostly just play music on it. This pic is from right now actually, as I'm making some stock.

We have another on the back porch (right side of pic), which I can't quite see from my BBQ pit, but it's nice to sit out there and put a movie on.

That’s a lovely outdoor area 👍
I have a TV for outdoors too but the weather here would destroy it if it was left out year round so it’s on a tripod and lives in the garage when it’s not being used. Mostly the boys watch rugby on it.

Somehow I managed to order the new TV for pick up at the wrong shop so tomorrow I’m going to have to drive to Street in Glastonbury (about 40mins from here) to get it 🙄

Does a Microwave count as tech?? If not then, nope nothing technical in the kitchen besides me - actually I'm the most technical "thing" in the entire house :) Now, if I had a bigger MUCH bigger kitchen then there is a chance that I mighht have some of that fancy techo stuff in it :)

We do have a laptop and stupid cell phones on the dining room table that adjoins the kitchen though.
