Thank you! I will definitely try itI haven't made this in a long time, but I'm tempted to now because black truffles are in season and fairly reasonable. I have to go close to where we buy them next week so may take the extra 10-15 minutes and pick up some truffles.

I seem to remember that mushroom pâtés tend to be very soft, unless you add something to stiffen them up. Cream cheese, breadcrumbs and even gelatin.
