I like to add these to sauces and soups. It one of those "What is that flavor?" ingredients, IMO.
Not really, but it gets very soft and rubbery. It just imparts a nice little tasting note that's a pleasant surprise.I heard of that. Does it melt down when cooked?![]()
So it enhances the flavor of whatever you use it for, but you can't eat it.![]()
