I thought about creating an exercise thread, I tend to exercise more when I do post progress every day.

The reason for this thread is my legs are weak due to a pickle ball injury. Two years ago, I had to walk using a stick as a cane temporary, my legs are getting better but I had to compensate the right leg due to the left leg injury, therefore the right leg is also needs help. My daughter said I need to walk more. Doing work in the garden is not enough for my legs, even though I garden 2-3 hours a day.

Next year after my Hawaiian trip, I definitely will join the gym at the senior center to run on the treadmill for that reason. I’m keen on doing it because my aunt who is 94 is having very weak legs, even though she never had any problem before. Her kids put 5 cameras inside her house because she tends to fall easily.

Please post your exercise here to help us all.

So I’ll start. Today I walked around my block twice, the total of 15 minutes.

I walk to the mailbox twice a day, 8 minutes each trip.

Beautiful area!
I walk at night alone because my husband is too busy watching basketball games, but our area is safe because my daughter walks about 2 hours each night. That and eating a lot of vegetables from mom’s cooking, and of course trotter soup. She lost a lot of weight without relying on Ozempic.

I just try and do as much physical exercise a day as I possibly can. We live in an area where you walk 1 km to the supermarket, and it's all uphill; I mean, steep, uphill. I don't do it any more, but when I'm downtown, as I was today, I parked in the first mall I found and then walked (probably only 1-2 kms) to the other places I needed to go to.
My knees are all screwed up because I used to play excessive amounts of rugby, cricket, tennis and squash, but I'm just going to keep pushing the limits. :D

I did better when I was in England, we often stayed at a hotel so we had to walk out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So my legs actually improved after my trip. Plus in England the sun is not so sunny as in SoCal, here I have to wait and walk at night or early in the morning. I’m not a morning person so I walk at night.

Thank you. All the dogs go as well... 😃

I saw your post about eating beets for HBP. I'm going to start trying that and come up with an exercise routine. Have to devise an application/assessment plan.

Not just eating beets, I eat a lot of stuff to lower my BP like jujubes, I have about 10 trees in container. When the weather is better, I also swim daily for 30-45 minutes, and I walk to the swimming pool. Every little bit helps.

My chooks used to follow me to the letterbox...
Only 2 would make the entire journey both ways, but I'd sometimes have to carry the older one back with me. She's 10yrs old now, so only goes part way with me now.

Hopefully, I'll be getting some more hikes in over Christmas.

I am a huge fan of exercise. I prefer way too much to do that outside in the nature, however is not always possible because of the weather.
I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week for a total of 1 1/2 hrs or 2. Walking on the treadmill for about 20 mins, then start running for about 10 mins.
When I have the chance I also like swimming at the pool (planning to go tomorrow in the early morning as there is no crowd). I tend not to take the car for everything, I prefer way too much to walk.

Most likely I will be walking fast on the treadmill rather than running, but taking baby steps, certainly better than sitting and surfing the web, which I tend to do a lot, lol.
