Favourite dish beginning with..

Dish. So ahi tuna is perfect - I'll eat it just as it is. Anchovies as well, as a tapa in Spain.

This is from when it came up before. Someone suggested anchovies, someone else challenged it as an ingredient, not a dish, and then karadekoolaid said things like anchovies (and tuna) were fine, as he eats them on their own.

I'm all confused now! Can single food items which can be consumed on their own, such as plums, anchovies, sardines, artichokes (globe), eggs, caviar, etc be included?

Please clarify karadekoolaid?

Favourite dish for me, means something that has actually been prepared, not just an ingredient.
So anchovies, for example, - an ingredient. Plums - an ingredient. Anchovies with balsamic and black pepper - a dish. Plums with pork - a dish.

So are you saying it’s back to a dish again?

Earlier, if you go back and read the original posts, people named tuna and anchovies, and you said those were ok because they could be eaten on their own.

Ok…but ever-changing rules make it hard to participate, at least for me. Too hard to hit a moving target.
