notedI've bypassed this thread but yes, tripe is a contender.![]()
Tripe a great British tradition; but not for me! And generally is dieing out - which is not surprising it's not the most tasty of things to eat!Barriehie might just come in with tripe![]()
THAT is just a killer! Ate that for breakfast in San Miguel de Allende, with a couple of fried eggs. Just great!Totopos con salsa tomatillo
It's a goodun - just made a batch of the salsa few days ago - gave some to the barnyard egg giver. Tomatillos are very underrated - very underused.THAT is just a killer! Ate that for breakfast in San Miguel de Allende, with a couple of fried eggs. Just great!

Easy to grow even in the UK. Cool Chile company in London sometimes has them. They do fresh and dried chiles and really good corn tortillas too available in various whole food type shops. And very difficult to find in the UK! I've never eaten them.
It’s true, but they grow well. Come to Manchester, they’re in every community garden, can’t make them go red. I don’t like them. And very difficult to find in the UK! I've never eaten them.
