Tripe a great British tradition; but not for me! And generally is dieing out - which is not surprising it's not the most tasty of things to eat!Barriehie might just come in with tripe

THAT is just a killer! Ate that for breakfast in San Miguel de Allende, with a couple of fried eggs. Just great!
It's a goodun - just made a batch of the salsa few days ago - gave some to the barnyard egg giver. Tomatillos are very underrated - very underused.
Here's another 'T' that is among my favourites: Takoyaki - Japanese octopus balls.
If you haven't tried them, I'm not sure how to describe them really. The outside is kind of like a pancake batter; flour, egg, baking soda, dashi stock that is poured into those hemispherical moulds and a piece of octopus is put inside. Then they do some kind of flipping thing that makes them round. They're crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Served with flakes of bonito and mayo.
