Lots of traditional British dishes for R as well as international ones:
- Roast "meat of your choice": Chicken/Beef/Lamb/Pork. Famously served for Sunday lunch with accompaniments of cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding.
- Rabbit Pie & Rabbit Stew: various variations around the world. Stuffat tal-Fenneck, a rabbit stew, is the national dish of Malta
- Rhubarb Crumble: one of many crumble desserts
- Rhubarb and Custard: classic combination
- Rhubarb Fool: chilled rhubarb based cream
- Rice Pudding: Found around the world. A nursery staple in the UK
- Rock Cake: a small fruity cake with less butter and flour
- Recurrent Jelly: great accompaniment to roast lamb
- Rissoles: Ball of chopped meat fried. Popular in northern England
Now for some international ones:
- Ravioli: which has already been mentioned. Pasta stuffed with lovely fillings
- Raviolo: Singular of ravioli, but normally much bigger and containing a runny egg yolk
- Rissotto : Great way to cook Abario rice
- Rumtopf: soft fruits maturing in alcohol ready for Christmas
- Raita: Indian yoghurt condiment
