I’ve added a casual chat room to CookingBites as a place for off-topic banter, light conversation, and short-lived chit-chat that doesn’t belong in forum threads. The chat room is informal and lightly-to-not moderated, with messages being temporary, so it’s ideal for friendly back-and-forth that would otherwise derail discussions. Your photos are getting much clearer! No photo of the final omelette? It looks like quite a large omelette - how many eggs? What is the pink ingredient - looks like ham?
I've been making a few omelettes using leftovers recently - I find adding a few herbs brings them to life.

Using my phone for pics, forgot to mention the bacon in it.no pic as it kinda collapsed while trying to flip it. Just squashed it to recover it. Fry pan was a new non stick. I'm not happy about the pan.

No - pies have pastry tops. Its a type of tart though.
