Find the food (new game)

I love word games. I reckon this one is easy but maybe you won't find it so?

The idea is to find the food item hidden in the words, phrases, sentences of the clue. It must consist of consecutive letters. It could be a single ingredient or a dish. Nothing too obscure please.

Anyone can post a clue but please don't post a new clue until the latest one is solved, otherwise we all get very confused!
