Food labelling: gluten free, organic etc.

I died once
my body has tried that multiple times.
  • at birth (PICU etc)
  • asthma attack at school when I decided I wanted to do the cross country run (fed up of being excluded)
  • asthma attack in my early 20's when the microwave decided to melt down and catch fire with me next to it - toxic fumes followed by November cold air did not mix well
  • found out the hardway my body no longer tolerates dairy protein at all.....
  • double pnemonia and 12 days in ICU (6 on respirator)
  • cervial spine collapsed - lost the use of my arms... (double fusion)
  • hospital medication issues - anaphylactic shock in hospital
  • hospital food isses - someone marked lactose-free icecream as dairy free sorbet on my tray
3 resuses and 3 anaphylactic shock 'issues'
plus the really serious attempt my body had at killing me with double pnuemonia and the cervial spine collapsing above the breathing reflex point...

Yeah - I am on borrowed time!

A question.

We have like you raspberry canes. We do not spray with anything.
Wife only. Uses sheep manure. Being from a sheep is the fruit still organic????
I think we've touched on it before but I dont remember the outcome '???
Or even vegan. The jam.i make has only fruit and sugar.
Your thoughts please

no. neither the land nor the sheep manure is organic.

Or even vegan. The jam.i make has only fruit and sugar.

Jam with fruit, pectin, and sugar is vegan if the sugar has not been bleached white using animal bone char. Bone char - Wikipedia
https://www.peta.org/faq/are-animal-ingredients-included-in-white-sugar/

I know in Australia, it is outlawed, so it may well be in NZ as well.

I do know of people who use butter as an antifoaming agent in making jam (my Grannie for one) which stopped jam from frothing and boiling over. Obviously, that means it is no longer vegan.
