Buenos Aires, Argentina is famed, I have been told, for its Beef and Beef Cuisine. Given that this is true, what makes so called Gaucho Beef so good and further, are there Beef recipes that are unique to Argentina and its Beef reputation?

My read is that what makes Gaucho Beef so special is Chimichurri Marinade and the Gaucho Wood Fired Grill.

The Chimichurri Marinade includes the following ingredients...

1) Garlic
2) Cilantro
3) Pepper
4) Olive Oil
5) Tequila
6) Lemon Juice
7) Lime Juice

The ingredients are blended and then tossed with the Steak or Roast into a plastic bag, shaken and chilled for no less than 24 hours before grilling.

I suppose the basic ingredients could be added to or given substitutions, by preference.

As for the Wood Fire Grill, you'd have to get a Gaucho Grill.

As for the quality of Argentine Beef, I would think that North American Beef can match it.
