Has anyone melted Cashew nut butter

Has anyone melted cashew butter, so it's texture is more like that of tahina?
I stir it in with my porridge, but it doesn't melt. I tried putting it in the microwave and smelt burning, but there was no melting.
How can I remove it's vestiges of viscosity?

I bought some roasted cashews, put them in a spice grinder and added them. It was very nice. Most were ground, but I still got a bit of crunch from what wasn't ground perfectly.
