Just came across it.

Coconut already shredded is much cheaper!!
You'd have to use this everyday to benefit from it and get your money's worth!! What a waste of money!!

I find it works just as well with coconut on either grater side, fine or coarse.
Much cheaper to and it doesn't take long to do an entire coconut or two.
