All these alternates for processing garlic just seem to be a solution in search of a problem. Like some others have mentioned…knife + garlic + <30 seconds = sliced/chopped/minced/crushed garlic (obviously, if someone has some sort of physical limitation with a knife, that’s different).
My sister bought me a rolling garlic chopper, sort of like a little Matchbox car, meant to be rolled over garlic pieces.
Absolute disaster - first, you had to use a knife to cut the garlic down into small enough pieces for the cutter to roll over. Then, the sticky garlic bits would stick to the round blades and travel up into the garlic cutter housing, which had to be disassembled in order to pick the minced garlic out of, and then the matter of cleaning it…oof!
