It's that time of the year when what appear at first glance to be ladybugs start looking for a warm place to stay. Soon enough the house will be covered with thousands of these flippin' insects.

They're not ladybugs. They're Chinese Lady Beetles that the USDA brought over here in the 60's to eat something destroying cash crops. They've no predators so they abound. What really sux is when they start to die they autohemmorage and leave a staining trail.

It takes multiple passes of Kilz stain blocker to cover it. Pita bugs... I sweep them up inside by the hundreds when it's on full swing around Thanksgiving. Pests flying all over the place...
