How do you crack eggs?

Flat surface, bottoms down. Peal shell away, one hand to hold the other to peel to ascetain no sharp yolk puncturing nonsense. (the latter doesn't apply if I am making omelets or other dishes with eggs that do not (to my mind) require intact yolks.

Nearest corner of sink etc
UNLESS I'm making brulees then I use a sharp knife and smack it into the centre. I like to separate the yolks properly.
