How long will cake last in the freezer

I've adapted this recipe for my preferences eg more cacao and quinoa flour instead of buckwheat flour. I think 0.5tsp of cinnamon may offset some of the bitterness of the extra cacao. If I make it and put in the freezer how long should it last?

I made a cake for the office and want to make another one for when my kids are down. However it says to use the apple sauce within 10 days of opening. My kids are down on 24th for a week.

There shouldn't be an issue with a few weeks in the freezer. Most goods start to perish from freezer burn and hence water loss after months in the freezer, so a few weeks in a well sealed container, wrapped in foil or parchment should be fine.
