Lobster Sauce.

I was all set to make some lobster sauce!! Found a recipe, sent it to the printer, laminated it & I was ready to start making it, but found out that I forgot a few things!!!!! I was so pissed!!! Has that ever happened to you?!!!! I made it before & I wanted to do it again. Now I gotta wait. I was going to post the results here. I got so disgusted & put everything back in the fridge!!!!!!

What type of lobster sauce do you make?

I don't know if this is universally true, but I read that US Chinese restaurant/takeaway Lobster sauce is so named as the sauce at one time did have, but no longer has lobster in it.

I cooked this recipe (which also talks about the nomenclature) and it was great though Shrimp with Lobster Sauce

Cioppino has a great sauce - made with lobster and shrimp. Great dish.

This is a recipe I've cooked - and do from time to time usually with lobster tails that go on special rather than whole lobsters which are a silly price.
